Hello, Pleasant Grove Church family. It has been 11 weeks since we physically gathered as a church family. The deacons have been prayerfully seeking Godly wisdom in how we can physically re-gather while keeping the command to love our neighbors. As we make these plans, safety is the number one priority. We thank you for your patience and ask for your continued patience.
We are excited to announce the first step in reopening our buildings.
We are very excited to let you know we will be physically gathering again this coming Sunday, May 31, weather permitting. This will be an outdoor worship service at 10:00 a.m. in front of the church. Bring your chairs to sit on, bring a blanket to sit on, or you can stay in your car. You may also want to bring a bottle of water as well.
There few things to keep in mind:
If you are not comfortable coming, that is 100% okay. You can still gather with us online at 10 a.m. through Facebook live.
We will maintain social distancing. Your family will need to stay 6 to 10 feet away from other families. There will be plenty of room to spread out. Please respect the feelings of others and do not approach someone to shake hands or give hugs. Social distance is essential to keep you and others safe.
The buildings will be locked. The service will be 45 min to an hour in length because of this.
If you are sick in any way with a cough, sore throat, or fever, please gather with us online.
If the weather is bad, we will gather online only.
Last if you have not filled out a reopening survey, please visit www.pgbcoakboro.org to do so. Or you may call the church office for more information on filling out the survey.
Once again, thank you for your continued prayers and patience as week seek Godly wisdom to move forward responsibly.
